PARADOR - MUSEUM SANTA MARIA
The Parador -
Museum Santa Maria is located along the Mayan Route in the border region
of Chiapas. The distance from the Parador to the archaeological zone of
Chinkultic is only ten kilometers, whereas the distance to the
multicolored Lakes of Montebello is 13 kilometers.
The building dates from the XIX century and has through extensive
renovation been brought back to its former splendor. Its interiors are
decorated throughout with period furniture and works of art covering
many centuries, creating an evocative and exclusive atmosphere.
